Super Seven — also called Black Gold Super Seven — is a variety of quartz that contains multiple mineral inclusions simultaneously: quartz, rutile, goethite, lepidocrocite, hematite, and others, all trapped together during formation. The defining visual characteristic is the dark quartz host threaded with golden-brown rutile needles. “Super Seven” refers to the mineral complexity; “Black Gold” describes the visual effect of those needles against the darker base.

Each bead contains a different density of inclusions — some packed, others sparse. This variation is not a quality difference. It is the stone.
